Kaeyllane Dias is an accomplished Dalcroze-Eurhythmics certified music teacher with more than 12 years of experience in Middle, Elementary and Preschool education, as well as choral education and performance. She also developed music curricula for Elementary Schools and has designed and implemented professional development workshops for preschool teachers at Estácio de Sá University in Brazil.
As a Music Teacher at Trinity Christian Academy of Cape Cod, Mrs. Dias developed individual student curricula to promote student interest and receptive learning, as well as interactive learning ways to increase student understanding of course materials. At Trinity Mrs. Dias also developed and conducted a virtual chorus with students, in the time of social distancing for Covid19.
As a Teacher at Nantucket Music Center, Mrs. Dias conducted the Kids Chorus and ensembles, transcribed and taught repertoire in both English and Portuguese for a program called Musicalizando, adapting a variety of different types of music for each ensemble. She also taught Piano Lessons to students as young as 3 years old, giving children skills that prepare them for formal music lessons should they be interested as they get older.
Kaeyllane Dias holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications from FAESA University in Brazil, and licensure from UFES Brazil in Music Education.
